Conferences

Department of Differential Equations and Applied Mathematics is one of the organizers of periodic Ukrainian scientific conference "Nonlinear problems of analysis".

The first such conference was held in 1998. Subsequent conferences were held in 2002, 2005, 2008 and 2013.

History

In 1940 in Stanislav (now Ivano-Frankivsk) Stanislav Teacher Institute was opened to ensure the training of teaching staff. The Institute operated three faculties: history, philology, physics and mathematics. The faculty of physics and mathematics carried out the training of teachers of physics and mathematics.
